Check out Units 177 and 178 of the Elves making Shelves project! All orders in the initial round have been filled and supplied to delighted recipients from Kiah to Yowrie. Elves are about to start on workbenches for people who lost homes and sheds – benches with shelves! Orders for shelving units for people who lost homes in the Quaama/Cobargo district, can be made through Veronica at Quaama relief centre. These 2 ‘special’ shelves were made at the request of Quaama headmaster Daniel Rowe who wanted somewhere to charge student laptops. Chief Elf, Don, was able to deliver on the same day as 20 new laptops arrived. Special thanks to Don Firth for his tireless efforts. If you are handy with a tape and hammer get in touch with Don – he’d welcome more Elves to help make these.
